Six-month-old child found dead at mother's lap on arrival at Chennai airport
The airport officials have shifted the body of the baby to Chromepet Government hospital for post mortem, which would reveal the cause for the death.

A six-month-old infant born to a Indian software couple based in Melbourne in Australia was found dead when they landed at the Anna International airport here today.
Airport sources said the couple, Sakthi Murugan and Deepa, landed here from Australia via Malaysia at 01:00 hrs by an Air Asia flight along with the infant named Krithik.
The couple hailed from Vengaivasal in suburban Tambaram.
When the entered the customs area after the immigration clearance, the couple found that the baby showed no signs of any movement.
They immediately rushed to the hospital in the airport premises, where doctors declared that the baby has died.
The parents, who wept unconsolably, said the child was hale and hearty and has been playing during the flight journey.
