JD United state unit gets new office-bearers

The Tamil Nadu Unit of the Janata Dal (United) on Thursday announced appointment of new set of office-bearers for the party.

Talking to reporters here, JD(U) State president Janata Sekar said, R Lakshmanan was appointed as the Parliamentary Committee leader and other members of this committee would be announced later.

He said while PP Chandran was made the disciplinary committee head, PM Vijayachandran was appointed as the party treasurer. The vice presidents of the party include, R Murugappan (Madurai), N Mani (Neyveli), G Tiruvarasamurthy (Chidambaram), A Aasaithambi (Tiruvannamalai), A J Raman (Mangadu), S Sundararajan (Chennai).

Janata Sekar said N Loganath of Central Chennai was appointed as the propaganda secretary, Lalitha Mohan as women’s wing president, M L Rameshof Tiruttani as tradewing organiser.
