Royapuram Metro Water depot shifted

The office has started functioning in the new location from Friday. According to a press release, the office has been moved from 48, GovindappaNaicken Street to 328, VOC Salai, Sowcarpet.

“We are relocating to enable the construction of a new office building in place of the old one,” the release added.

Metro Water requested its consumers to contact the new depot office for redressal of complaints and for payment of water tax and charges.

Residents can also contact assistant engineer of depot 57 through 8144930057 and deputy area engineer through 8144930213 for complaints redressal.

Meanwhile, the MetroWater has extended the deadline for registering bore wells and open wells in the city to November 25.

Earlier, the water manager had requested the building owners to convert unused wells into rainwater harvesting structures or fill them up to the ground level. Residents can contact 044 28454080for assistance.
