Gold, laptops and liquor seized from trio at Triplicane
The Triplicane police detained a trio in possession of 140 grams of gold, 24 laptops and 10 bottles of foreign liquor in the wee hours of Saturday.

A car in which the valuables were carried without proper documents was also seized from the men identified as Nasar, Nazer and Anish Mohammed. Sub-inspector Selvaraj and head constable Sunny Lloyd intercepted the vehicle on suspicion during a vehicle check around 1.30 am and found them carrying liquor and laptops without any documents.
They were handed over to Triplicane police station for further investigation, saidthe police.
