Fisherman arrested for stabbing friend

According to Thirupalaivanam police, Prashant (30) from Sempasi village in Pulicat had gone to a Tasmac shop near his home to drink alcohol on Sunday. While consuming liquor, Prashant got into for liquor. “During the spat, Prashant took out a knife and stabbed Vicky,” the police said. On receiving information, the police rushed to the spot and rushed Vicky to the Stanley Hospital where he is undergoing treatment. The police later registered a case and arrested Prashant on Tuesday. Further investigation is under way.
