Flight to Delhi delayed by 3 hours
Minutes before it was about to take off, an Indigo flight to Delhi with 138 passengers and five crew members was grounded after the pilot noticed snag.

Though scheduled to depart at 5.30 pm on Thursday, the flight was delayed and was brought to the runway at 6.20 pm. During the final check, the pilot noticed the snag and alerted the air traffic control. The aircraft was returned to the bay and passengers were offloaded. After their journey became delayed once again, the passengers entered into an argument with the airline staff. Finally, the airline pressed another flight that departed at 8.45 pm. Meanwhile, an Air India Alliance flight to Madurai at 9.40 am was cancelled in the morning as there were not enough passengers for the trip. Following this, the 23 passengers who had already arrived at the airport picked up a quarrel with the staff, before being sent to Madurai in another Air India flight that departed at 11.30 am.
