The boy, Parvesh, who was reportedly playing in the house was missing. Following this, his parents Rajkumar (30) and Thulasi (28) went in search of him around the house. Finally, they found him floating in a pit which was filled with rainwater nearby the house. On retrieving the child, they rushed him to Ponneri Government hospital, where the doctors declared him brought dead.
