The deceased, Panneerselvam of Namachivayapuram in Choolaimedu, was an auto driver and did not return home after stepping out on Wednesday afternoon. His wife Rahima had lodged a complaint at the Choolaimedu police station on Thursday morning. Meanwhile, the Guindy railway police received information that a man was found dead with bruises and cut marks all over the body and informed Guindy police.
