JBAS College for Women graduation ceremony held
Narasimhulu requested the graduands to develop skill or re-skill themselves in order to meet the requirements of the technological advancements.

The Justice Basheer Ahmed Sayeed (JBAS) College for Women in the city recently held its graduation ceremony in the college premises. Prof Y Narasimhulu, director, UGC-HRDC, University of Hyderabad, was the guest of honour at the event which saw over 1,000 students receiving their degree.
Congratulating the students, faculty and parents on the occasion, Narasimhulu stated that India has a huge human resource capital and that the human resources potential must be maximised by imparting skills and accelerate the growth of the Indian economy.Â
While mentioning that universities and other institutions must play an important role in the transformational growth, the former Vice Chancellor of Rayalaseema University appreciated the institution for being a part of the same. He requested the graduands to continue to strive towards an inclusive learning environment.Â
While highlighting the names of women achievers in various fields, Narasimhulu requested the graduands to develop skill or re-skill themselves in order to meet the requirements of the technological advancements.Â
He also requested to develop a strategy to gain updates and lead a fulfilling life and contribute to equality. Narasimhulu’s speech was followed by the presentation of degrees by the respective Heads of the Departments of all the 13 UG, 5 PG and M Phil departments. On the whole, 1,114 graduates were awarded degrees.
