3 men threaten woman, hunt on

The incident happened around 9 pm at Venkateshwara Nagar where a couple, Ramakrishnan and Lakshmi of Andhra Pradesh, and two of their relatives were staying at a rented premise. Four men reached the house allegedly received sexual favours from one of the couple’s relatives, and fled the spot without paying the money they promised.

The couple immediately lodged a complaint at Royala Nagar police station, claiming that the gang robbed their jewels. But, during interrogation, the police established that robbery claims was false. But they confirmed the visit of the gang with the help of CCTV footage from the locality. The investigating officer said they were treating the family as victims for now and have launched a hunt for the suspects.
