The SEs may also contact district collectors and appraise the position regarding rectificationworks attended byTangedco,” it said.
After a quick preliminary survey of damages, it said that a consolidated report and approximate cost of damages should be sent to the office of chief engineer of the planning and resource centre whenever there are heavy rain-winds during monsoon periods. “This should be followed by a detailed report on damages, including HT and LT line, distribution transformers and service connections affected together with the requirement of poles and conductors to rectify the damages.
