Man held for threatening ex-girlfriend

The arrested was identified as V Radhakrishnan from Sivagangai district. He had befriended the woman through Facebook. Three months ago, he reached Chennai and both of them went out when they clicked pictures together. The woman, a resident of Ekkaduthangal, works in a textile shop. She recently found out about Radhakrishnan’s undesirable activities and snapped the relationship with him.

On Saturday night, he reached the woman’s house and asked her to marry him. When she refused, he threatened that he would post their pictures on social media. Based on her complaint, the police team arrested Radhakrishnan and remanded him in judicial custody.
