Lorry runs over man in Tirumullaivoyal
A 30-year-old man was run over by a container lorry on CTH Road in Tirumullaivoyal on Wednesday morning. The deceased, Dayalan of Tiruvallur district, was working in a firm in Manali and the accident happened when he was on his way back home after night shift.

Around 6 am, when he was riding his bike on CTH road, a container lorry rammed him from behind. In the impact, Dayalan was thrown away and the lorry ran over his head. Dayalan’s head was crushed even though he was driving a helmet and he died on the spot. On information, the Poonamallee traffic investigation police registered a case and arrested the lorry driver Kathirvelu (38) of Sholingar.
