Accenture MD asks engineering graduates to work on innovation
SRM Valliammai Engineering College recently held its 15th Graduation Day. The Graduation Day report was presented by principal Dr B Chidhambararajan. It was a proud moment for all the 829 graduates, 13 Anna University rank holders, their parents, the staff and the management.

Speaking during the event, chief guest Sathappan Narayanan, the Managing Director of Accenture, asked the fresh graduates to “innovate and share the limelight with successful people”.
Sathappan congratulated all the youngsters and emphasised on the importance of having a successful career. He said the young engineers should be encouraged to innovate and transform their innovations into real time achievement.
“To be successful, one must have a wider exposure to the latest technology and should strive for their betterment,” Sathappan said. “I urge the fresh graduates to identify their specific interests, develop their inquisitiveness and subsequently infuse adaptability into themselves. This would stimulate their minds to update themselves with the recent trends in the modern world,” he added.
The chief guest also persuaded the future technologists to confront difficulties and complexities confidently and face risks with determination and prudence.
They were advised not to be perturbed by early failure as failing early will surely help them cross hurdles later on in life and achieve successfuloutcomes.
