Drug awareness campaign held in Tiruvallur

More than 500 school and college students participated in the rally that was flagged from the office of the district collector. The students carried placards and pamphlets to spread awareness on drug abuse and its ill effects. The rally was flagged off by district revenue officer Rajagopalan and had active from the district representatives of Narcotics Intelligence Bureau. Speaking at the occasion, the revenue officer advised public against misuse of drugs and pressed for school and college managements to actively campaign against drug abuse.
