    Train to Mysuru cancelled

    The Mysuru– Puratchi Thalaivar Dr MGR Central Weekly superfast Express (Train no 22681) that is to commence journey on Wednesday and the return train (Train No. 22682) commencing journey on Thursday have been cancelled due to non-interlocking working at Mysuru for yard modelling work over Mysore Division of South Western Railway, said a statement from the Southern Railway on Tuesday.

    Meanwhile, as track maintenance work is scheduled to be taken up at Kadambattur Yard in Chennai – Arakkonam section for a week from Tuesday, a few EMU trains would be run on fast line between Tiruvallur and Thiruvalangadu and would hence skip stoppage at Senji Panambakkam, said another release.


    MMC – Arakkonam EMU local (Train no 43439) leaving MMC at 10.10 pm and MMC – Arakkonam EMU local (Train no 66009) leaving MMC at 10.45 pm on June 18, 20, 22 and 24 will not stop at Senji Panambakkam. Also, Chennai Beach – Arakkonam EMU local (no 43801) leaving Chennai Beach at 1.20 am on June 19, 21, 23 and 25 will also not stop there.
