331 schools in Chennai are unrecognised
The Collector of Chennai warned parents of unrecognised schools revealing the list of unrecognised and lacking Non-objection certificate schools.

The list of schools that were un-recognised and did not acquire Non-objection certificate were listed out. A whooping 331 schools in the city failed the criteria.
This finding was a result of a team comprising of academicians and experts, formed under the order of Madras High Court.
With the publishing of the list the Collector adviced parents to meticulously look out for schools that are un-recognised and avoid admitting their children in such schools.
