Cops screen awareness film on traffic rules for violators

Over the last five days, more than 5,000 motorists who violated the rules were made to watch the film, said an official. On Tuesday, the drive was conducted in Vepery and Kilpauk localities. A total of 350 motorists who were not wearing helmets saw the 50- second film.

They were also given pamphlets to read and understand the traffic rules. The screening was done in vans and buses and it showed how people lose their lives if they don’t wear the headgear. An awareness film on traffic rules and regulation was also screened to students at their schools.
