When he was special secretary in the industries department, he was in touch with big industries who used to say that they are not getting employable people. They are not getting people with floor experience. He said he found expertise here after seeing the talent exposure by the students.

He advised to chalk out a syllabus relevant to the industries and ensure floor training in the industries and immediate employment in association with Directorate of Employment and Training and Industries. He also quoted about examples of start-ups success and advised to think of it. He requested the students to take care of their parents, who till now have taken care of them.

Finally, he compared life with bike which has got speed reading from Zero to 140. If we do not drive carefully, balancing the speed, it will lead to accidents. Like that parents, teachers and well-wishers may try to advise you when you are not travelling on right track it needs to be taken in the right spirit and follow it.

While concluding, he said one should have an aim in life. Aim will get fulfilled only when you put it in action otherwise it will remain as aims and thoughts. Old Students of the Institution R Balaji, G Vengadesh and Sarath shared their experiences. The trainees of the Institution demonstrated their inventions. Students took convocation pledge and the programme ended withnational anthem.
