Celeb Chef: No better comfort food than a bowl of ice cream, says Nikki Galrani

Most memorable cooking experience: I don’t cook but I’m good at being a foodie, who loves to eat almost anything that someone cooks for me. I don’t try to cook because I’m afraid it will end up turning into something else. 

Favourite cuisine:  I love eating Thai food at almost any time of the day. I’m also a big fan of all kinds of South Indian food. Sindhi curries are a favourite, since my mum makes them often. I admire anything homemade. 

Favourite dish:  Biryani is a big favourite and also the ultimate guilt food for me. It can be in any style of preparation, but as long as it is biryani, I love gorging on it. 

Comfort food:  I think there’s no better comfort food than a bowl of ice cream after a long day of work.

Favourite food destination:  As a beach lover, I find it a lot of fun to eat at shacks by the sea. Fresh seafood at shacks is the best. I love Maldives for the same reason that I can enjoy the freshest seafood.
