1-month summer holiday for real estate tribunal
The Tamil Nadu Real Estate Appellate Tribunal (TNREAT) has announced its summer holidays and it will not function from May 2 to June 2.

However, the office of the tribunal would function on those days, Justice B Rajendran, chairman of the Tribunal said in a circular.
“If any appeal or application has to be filed seeking for orders urgently, then necessary permission should be obtained,” the circular said.
Urgent filings could only be filed on every Wednesday before noon for consideration. No appeal or application would be entertained if there is no emergency as decided by the Tribunal.
The Tamil Nadu Real Estate Appellate Tribunal is hearing the appeals pertaining to the real estate and was constituted based on the RERA Act. Persons who feel aggrieved by the orders issued by TNRERA could appeal before the Tribunal.
