20 sovereigns stolen from lawyer’s house
Unidentified miscreants decamped with 20 sovereigns and Rs 50,000 in cash after breaking into a lawyer’s house near Red Hills.

Vasudevan (49), a resident of Selva Vinayagar Nagar in Azhinjivakkam, had gone to his relative’s house in Cheyyar with family members on April 14. When he returned home on Saturday morning, he found the house door broken and valuables kept inside missing. Based on his complaint, Red Hills police have registered a case.
