Chennai Airport to install bulletin board with Metro train timings

Metro train which connects the major stations in Chennai city, is being used by commuters to avoid congestion and traffic. Around 6,500 passengers reach Chennai Airport via Metro trains daily, reports said.

The decision to install bulletin boards with the metro train timings was announced by the Chennai Airport authorities after discussion with the  Chennai Metro authorities, to aid the new visitors to the city.

Accordingly, it is decided that the boards will departure timings of the metro trains that start from Chennai Airport. And the boards will be installed in both Domestic and International terminus.

Currently, the Metro train operates from 4.30 am to 11 pm, Metro Authority confirmed.
