CISF company reach Chennai
With model code of conduct already in place for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, four companies of Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) comprising more than 300 Central Industrial Security Force personnel reached the city on Friday.

They will be deployed for bandobust in places where polling related activities are under way, the police said.
The four companies have been put up in community halls in each of the four police zones in the city such as Pazhavanthangal in south and Pulianthope in north. They have been provided with all the necessary amenities, added an official. More CAPF companies are expected to reach ahead of April 18.
