2 Nigerians, woman held for robbing ATM cash-refilling staff
More than a month after an unidentified gang attacked the staffer of a private agency and escaped with Rs 10 lakh meant for replenishing an ATM in Maduravoyal, the police arrested two Nigerians and a woman on Friday.

The police said I Akyo Maye (27) and B Amoo (26) of Nigeria and S Creya (21) of Manimangalam were all studying in the same college and the Nigerians were her seniors.
The incident happened on February 7 when Murali and Devaraj, employees of an agency entrusted to replenish cash in Canara Bank ATMs, went to the ATM at Moovendhar Nagar in Noombal.
Two men wearing helmet attacked Devaraj with a knife and escaped with a suitcase containing the cash. Based on their complaint, the Maduravoyal police had registered a case and launched a hunt for the accused. With the help of the vehicle registration number recorded by CCTV cameras, the suspects were traced and detained on Thursday. The two-wheeler used for the robbery was also seized.
However, since they claimed that the cash was handed over to another Nigerian living in Mysuru, a special team has rushed there to nab him.
They will be remanded in judicial custody on Saturday along with the fourth accused, the police added.
