PAC-PITI of Ariyalur named third best institute
Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Directorate General of Training has ranked PAC Ramasamy Raja Private Industrial Training Institute, located at Ariyalur, as third best amongst 33 private industrial training institutes with a composite score of 73.7% under STRIVE Project, at the National Level ITI Evaluation Committee Meeting held recently.

ITI was established in the year 2010 by Ramco Cements Limited in Ariyalur which is one of the most backward districts of Tamil Nadu. This is one of the CSR initiatives of the company to impart technical skills to rural boys and girls, apart from running a CBSE School in the vicinity of its cement factory.
The company provides the students adequate industrial exposure in their cement plants as a practical training besides imparting training on soft skills, concept of Kaizen 5S, Industrial Safety, during their course of study, to enhance their employment opportunities. The institute has a consistent track record of pass percentage of more than 90 per cent and around 80 per cent of students are employed through campus placement by leading companies all over the country.
This institute has been accredited under ISO: 29990 - 2010. Chief Executive Officer A.V. Dharmakrishnan said that this ranking accorded by Government of India is a fitting recognition of the company’s CSR initiatives and efforts in the realm of education, training and skill development of the youth.
