Customs issues alert on job scam
The Chennai Customs department has issued a warning to the public over fake interview call letters to job seekers by fraudsters in the pretext of getting them placement with the department by issuing fake interview letters for the post of junior clerks and office assistant.

“This is to inform the public that this office has not issued such call letters. Recruitment for the department is done by Staff Selection Commission or by notification issued by the department. We have registered a case in connection in this regard with the police and a probe is on,” said a press release from the Chennai Customs House.
