Woman among two ganja peddlers held

The Ennore police arrested 33-year-old M Gayathri of Tsunami quarters in Ernavur when she was selling ganja on Ottavadai Street in Ennore. They seized 1.2 kg ganja from her and remanded her in judicial custody. 

Similarly, the Tondiarpet police arrested a 20-year-old man of Potheri after he was found selling ganja to college students in the locality. The accused was identified as P Sukendar Das, native of West Bengal. 

Ganja weighing 1.2 kg was seized from him before he was remanded in judicial custody. Meanwhile, Ayanavaram police arrested two petty shop owners for selling banned pan masala products and seized 372 sachets from their possession. 

The accused were identified as M Mahesh (30) and S Naraynanan (66) of Ayanavaram. The duo was remanded in judicial custody.
