He knows if you’ve been bad or good

Let’s just hope these Chennaiites have been good all year, for goodness’ sake. In this Christmas special article, they tell us what they would ask Santa Claus if he were to grant them one wish or gift.

I would wish for a library that has books and movies, where I can read and watch, anything, anytime, from anywhere around the world, for free. There are streaming services and bookstores, which can quench my thirst, but it’s just too expensive sometimes. Santa Uncle can grant me this ‘simple’ wish if he thinks I have been a good boy this year.

    Rohini S, Marketing executive

The only thing I have in mind is to pray for a particular friend’s well-being, my parents’ peace of mind and the health and happiness of everyone close to me. This may sound very clichéd, but isn’t tradition what festivals are all about? As for myself, I wish Santa would make my dream of living on a farm with many animals, especially dogs, come true very soon!

    Elavarasan R, Upcoming actor

I don’t know if this is very realistic, but if I get a chance to ask Santa Claus for a wish, I’ll ask him the following. Money should lose its value and be replaced by a universal currency that would hold the same value everywhere, and power should be replaced by talent. If these two things happen, the world would progress to a better place.

    Derek Abraham, Content strategist

I would request Santa to bless me with a partner who understands me and accepts me for who I am. I’d like this lady to be ambitious, empathetic and sensible. She should give importance to the little things in life.

    Swetha Muthukrishnan, Project manager

God has blessed me with everything possible. All I wish for now is peace and serenity, my style. That doesn’t mean that I do not want to go through any struggle. I just want Him to give me the strength to turn every sadness of mine into a memorable moment that I can cherish for life.

    Priyanka Magima, HR business partner

Well, that is a tough one! There are so many things yet if I had to choose, it would be to be unadulterated happiness — mentally, emotionally and physically. In today’s world where many of us let our happiness be defined by others and materialistic things, I’d like myself to be reason for my happiness and not have to depend on anyone or anything.
