NIB arrests man for possessing party drug
Sleuths attached to the Narcotics Intelligence Bureau (NIB) arrested a 30-year-old man in possession 5 grams of Methylenedioxymethamphetamin (MDMA), which is also known as ecstasy, in Porur on Saturday.

The arrested was identified as Rajesh (30) of Mogappair. The seized MDMA was estimated to worth around Rs 50,000. Rajesh was being interrogated where he sourced the drug from.
Meanwhile, Triplicane police arrested a 25-year-old man in possession of 1.25 kg ganja and remanded him in judicial custody. J Aasif of Triplicane was peddling the ganja near Adam market, said police.
