A carnival that brings entire family under one roof

As mothers and passionate writers, the duo has a common vision to inspire mothers to follow their dreams and make a difference. “We started this initiative earlier this year as an effort to bring moms together and share their success stories and inspire each other to get back to their careers. When you become a mother, you don’t need to choose between motherhood and career, instead, you can have a balance between both. We have been achieving this through monthly workshops with various subject matter experts as well as larger events,” says Antara.

There is definitely life beyond motherhood and the duo wanted to encourage mothers to find their passion. “We are now two months away from the end of 2018 and December is filled with the Christmas feels and spirit. Throughout the year, we, at InspirED Moms, shine the spotlight on mothers. However, during the festive season, we thought of bringing the whole family together for a unique carnival called Parry’s Amrit and InspirED Moms - The Festive Edition. This is a first of its’ kind initiative in Chennai,” she adds.

Explaining the line of activities, Antara says, “There will be a live stage performance by Danzza School of Dance, Nadisha Thomas and band, and carol singing by a choir. Apart from this, there will be educational, stimulating and fun activities for kids. Different brands from Chennai and outside the city will be putting up retail stalls. There will also be a gourmet section.” The carnival will be held on December 2 at Hyatt Regency, from 11 am to 7 pm.
