According to a Corporation official, the university has conducted basic tests to find out the species of the seized meat. “The basic tests, however, failed to provide intelligible results. We are waiting for the results to decide on further course of action,” the official said. “As the meat seized looked like dog meat, we have sent two samples to Veterinary University and awaiting its result,” the official added.
When contacted, a university official said, “We could not get clear results during the examination. So we have decided to conduct a DNA test.”
