Woman kills self for not having kids

Police said Nancy married Praveen Kumar (37), who is working at a private firm in Maraimalainagar, five years ago. The couple remained childless all these years. They used to quarrel often over the issue. On Wednesday morning both of them had a fight and Praveen left for work.

When he returned home that night, he found the door was open and all the lights were turned off. Inside, he found Nancy hanging from the ceiling of a bedroom. She was taken to a nearby hospital where the doctors declared that she died hours ago. On information, the Selaiyur police visited the spot and sent the body for post-mortem examination to Chromepet government hospital.
