Sri Lankan refugee ends life in Puzhal camp
A 19-year-old woman Sri Lankan refugee committed suicide at the Puzhal camp in the wee hours of Monday.

The deceased Durga was working at a textile shop in Avadi and was in relationship with a 22-year-old man from the same camp. Her boyfriend returned to Sri Lanka six months ago and he started avoiding her calls, said police.Â
Dejected over this, Durga hanged self at the camp on Monday morning. The Puzhal police recovered her body and sent it for post-mortem examination. Further inquiry is on.Â
