Awareness programme on dyslexia
he Madras Dyslexia Association (MDA), in association with Writer’s Cafe will create awareness on Dyslexia, with an aim to help the public experience how a person with Dyslexia views the world. The programme will be held from October 2 to 7 to observe the International Dyslexia Awareness Week.
Chennai
From rewriting the menu cards to distributing pamphlets on Dyslexia, the initiative will clarify all doubts on dyslexia and help people realise the kinds of challenges a person with dyslexia faces every day.
While the same initiative was held a few months back at the Writer’s cafe on Peter’s Road, this time MDA will work in association with the Writer’s Café at Taramani. “Since, many parents shared about their children going through similar struggles, we have decided to do the same session at Taramani,” said Harini Mohan, head of MDA awareness wing.
