Law minister hospitalised with chest pain

The minister who suffered severe chest pain and breathing difficulty was advised for diagnosis and minor procedures. “There is nothing to worry and his conditioned has improved,” a party source said. 

Shanmugham will be discharged in a couple of days. The news of him failing ill created some panic among AIADMK workers in his hometown Villupuram and at the party office. Shanmugham, who holds the crucial law portfolio, has been frequenting the Election Commission of India and various courts fighting the factional feud cases filed by the rebel AMMK faction.
