Newly wed woman commits suicide at Madipakkam

The deceased was identified as Anitha (25), wife of Pugazhenthi (26) from Villupuram. Police said Anitha and Pugazhenthi were working in a textile shop in T Nagar. They were in a relationship and got married three months ago. 

After marriage, they were living in a rented house in Madipakkam. 

Pugazhenthi quit his job in the textile shop two months ago and started working in a printing press in Nandanam. Meanwhile, Pugazhenthi asked Anitha to stop working and Anitha refused. This led to frequent quarrels between the couple. 

After a similar quarrel on Monday night, Pugazhenthi went to sleep. When he woke up on Tuesday morning, he found Anitha hanging form the ceiling. On receipt of information, the Madipakkam police visited the spot and recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem examination at Chromepet Government Hospital. Further investigation is on.
