Conmen escapes with bizman’s Rs 1 crore

The victim Mohanasundaram (55) of Erode was in need of Rs 50 crore as loan to develop his business. The suspects who came to know about his need reportedly contacted him over phone, promising to get him Rs 50 crore for a commission of Rs 1 crore. 

In the subsequent calls, they asked him to come to Karpagam Avenue in Raja Annamalai puram with the cash. Believing them, he reached the spot on Thursday evening. The  suspects took him to a nearby tea shop. As Mohanasundaram was drinking coffee, they escaped with his cash bag. 

Following the complaint that Mohanasundaram lodged at Foreshore Estate police station, a hunt is on for the criminals with the help of CCTV footage retrieved from the locality.
