City gets new DCs in fresh police reshuffle

A release said that Abhin Dinesh Modak, has been posted as Inspector General, Crime, Chennai. Mylapore Deputy Commissioner, P Saravanan, has been transferred to Cuddalore, and N M Mayilvahanan, SP, Tiruvarur, has been appointed as the new DC of Mylapore. 

Vellore SP P Pakalavan has been transferred and posted as the Deputy Commissioner (traffic- north zone) in Chennai. SP M Durai, who had been functioning as ADC to Tamil Nadu governor, has been posted as DC, Chennai (traffic - west zone).  

ET Samson, DC, security, Chennai city, has been asked to take charge as the Deputy Commissioner, Flower Bazaar. SP Nisha Parthiban has been appointed as the SP, CB-CID – III, replacing SP Pravesh Kumar, who has been posted as the Vellore SP. R Sivakumar, DC (traffic - west zone), Chennai, has been appointed as the DC of Security Chennai Police (SCP) replacing Samson. 

Flower Bazaar DC S Selvakumar has been transferred and posted as DC of headquarters in Coimbatore. Tiruvannamalai SP R Ponni has been appointed as the Tiruvallur SP, replacing the incumbent, M R Sibi Chakaravarthi, who has been appointed as SP, Tiruvannamalai. Cuddalore SP C Vijayakumar has been posted as the Nagapatinam SP.
