    Trainers raise doubts over TNPSC’s attempt

    With the earlier attempts by TNPSC to go digital having failed, trainers for TNPSC exams in the city wondered if the state might be successful in this attempt.

    “Since it had failed couple of years back, is there any guarantee whether the TNPSC will conduct the test without any technical snag this time?” wondered S Natraja Subramanian, a trainer of Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) exam

    Academicians also pointed out that there was a possibility of question paper leak since the whole exam was in the hands of private party.

    However, according to TNPSC officials, the organisation implementing the exam will ensure complete registration process of the candidates including digital photo and finger print and allow them to appear for the exam at the centre through pre-allotted table with a computer machine.

    The staff provided by the company will monitor and supervise exam centre activities on monitoring console to be installed in TNPSC office at Chennai.

    “CCTV surveillance system will also monitor and capture the activity of candidates and will transmit the live clippings to the centralized real-time monitorin unit located in TNPSC”, an official said. He added the merit list, based on the key rules and validation shared by TNPSC, will hosted soon after the exams.
