Glass panel number 80 falls at Chennai airport

Around 5.50 pm on Wednesday, a panel measuring four feet by eight feet near the fourth exit came down and shattered into pieces. Luckily, there were no casualties,  as the fourth exit is used only during the emergency, as it is closed otherwise. Soon after the incident, senior officials visited the spot and broken pieces were  cleared by the staff. The officials claimed that the glass was already marked weak, and added that they had planned to change it in a couple of days.
