Dr MGR varsity opens paramedical courses

UG degree in allied health sciences — which is four year duration for Science students with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (mandatory) — includes BSc accident and emergency care technology, BSc cardiac technology, BSc cardio pulmonary perfusion care technology, BSc critical care technology, BSc dialysis technology, BSc neuro electrophysiology, BSc medical laboratory technology, BSc medical laboratory technology, BSc medical record science, BSc medical sociology and BSc nuclear medicine technology. 

In addition, other UG courses include BSc operation theatre and anaesthesia technology, BSc physician assistant, BSc radiology imaging technology, BSc respiratory therapy, BSc in audiology and speech language pathology, BSc in prosthetics and orthotics, Bachelor in optom, BSc microbiology and B.Sc fitness and lifestyle modification. 

The university also offers more than 10 diploma courses, which includes diploma in operation theatre and anaesthesia technology and diploma in radiology and imaging technology.
