MGR University to start fellowship programme for doctors
The Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University and Australasian College for Health Service Management signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish South Asian Centre of Health Service Management in the campus, on Tuesday.

The one-year fellowship programme aims to provide training to health service managers as well as hospital administrators to improve their leadership skills. “Australasian College will provide faculties who would train doctors and paramedical staff,” said Dr Srinivas, professor, Department of Epidemiology, Dr MGR university. The programme has three stages. First will be course starter, next would be candidate preparation process towards the examination and stage three is the examination process. The first batch will start by September 2018.
