10 Chennai-bound trains to stop at Tiruttani on May 2, 3
Over 10 Express trains would be diverted and two rescheduled owing to the ongoing yard work at Arakkonam Junction on May 2 and 3, a Southern Railway release said. The diverted trains will skip stoppage at Chennai Central and Perambur.

Train No 12296 Danapur – Bengaluru Sanghamitra Express, which left Danapur on April 30, reach Central on May 2, Train No 12510 Guwahati – Bengaluru Cantonment Express, which left Guwahati on April 30, reach Perambur on May 2, Train No 12521 Barauni – Ernakulam Express, which left Barauni on April 30, reach Central on May 2, Train No 12688 Dehradun – Madurai Express, which left Dehradun on April 30, reach Central on May 2, Train No 13351 Dhanbad – Alappuzha Express, which left Dhanbad on April 30, reach Central on May 2, Train No 15228 Muzaffarpur – Yesvantpur Express, which left Muzaffarpur on April 30, reach Perambur on May 2, Train No 12296 Danapur – Bengaluru Sanghamitra Express, scheduled to leave Danapur on May 1, reach Central on May 3, Train No 12510 Guwahati – Bengaluru Cantonment Express, scheduled to leave Guwahati on May 1, reach Perambur on May 3, Train No 12577 Darbhanga – Mysuru Express, scheduled to leave Darbhanga on May 1, reach Central on May 3, Train No 13351 Dhanbad – Alappuzha Express, scheduled to leave Dhanbad on May 1, reach Central on May 3, Train No 22642 Shalimar - Thiruvananthapuram Express, scheduled to leave Shalimar on May 1, reach Perambur on May 3 and Train No 22647 Korba - Thiruvananthapuram Express, to leave Korba on May 2, reach Central on May 3 will be diverted via Gudur, Renigunta, Melpakkam and Jolarpettai and hence be given a stoppage of 2 minutes at Tiruttani. Special staff have been posted at Chennai Central, Egmore, Katpadi, Arakkonam, Tiruttani and Jolarpettai for guiding the passengers. Â
Train No 12602 Mangalore–Chennai Central mail, will leave Mangalore late by 45 minutes and Train No 11028 Chennai Central – Mumbai CSMT Mail, will leave Central late by 3 hours and 05 minutes.
