Drunk man held for hugging woman forcibly

According to the police, two men, identified as Arunkumar and R Senthil Kumar from Kundrathur misbehaved with the 27-year-old woman in Kamarajar Nagar while she was returning home. 

When they tried to hug the woman forcibly, she retaliated and slapped one of them. After this, the men, who were drunk, began to assault her. 

Passersby then rushed to help the woman and beat the duo. During the commotion, Arunkumar managed to escape but Senthil Kumar was handed over to the police. 

The police have registered a case and are looking for Arunkumar.
