Metro Water assures adequate water in Gopalapuram area
Adequate water supply would be ensured for the residents in parts of Gopalapuram after renewing the main distribution lines supplying water to the area, assured the Metro Water Board on Thursday.

The agency was responding to the report, “500 families buy water for their daily needs”, in this newspaper on Wednesday, which reported the trouble faced by people in North Gopalapuram 1st and 2nd streets, Ganapathy Colony, Rathinam Street and Thandvarayar Street.
The main distribution line on Conron Smith road was fully corroded, Metro Water said, adding that the work to replace it would be taken up in May.
