Four injured after ceiling collapses
Four of a family suffered injuries after the ceiling of their house at Minjur near here collapsed and fell on them while they were asleep, in the wee hours of Sunday.

The victims Thangaraj, his daughters Sandhya, Rajeshwari and son Sethuraman were immediately rushed to the Stanley Medical College Hospital for treatment and they were said to be out of danger.Â
Sources said that the structure was a two-storeyed building. While the entire family was sleeping in the hall, parts of the ceiling came crashing down on them.Â
The reason for the incident could not be ascertained immediately. Minjur police said that they did not receive any official complaint about the incident.
