Engineering graduate drowns in farm well

Saravana Perumal, a resident of Periyar Nagar in Acharapakkam and seven of his friends had gone for a bath in a farm well in Kathukudalur near Acharapakkam. But since Saravana Perumal reportedly is not family with swimming and drowned. After noticing him, his friends and farmers nearby tried to save him, but in vain. 

Acharapakkam fire service personnel were alerted immediately and they rushed to the spot drained the water from the well to find his body, said sources in police department. Acharapakkam police registered a case and sent the body for an autopsy to the Maduranthakam Government Hospital.
