Rajini meets mandram members in city

The meeting is said to have been about the next course of action and strategy to be followed. This is expected to be closely linked with the upcoming launch of his party and revelation of his political policies. 

The Rajini Makkal Mandram was established as an umbrella organisation that brought together the disparate fan clubs of the actor across the state. The consolidation activities began after Rajinikanth signaled his intention to enter politics on December 31 last year. 

The chief coordinator VM Sudhakar and state secretary Raju Mahalingam were entrusted with the role of overseeing the election of office bearers in various districts across the state. 

Meanwhile, the Dindugal district secretary of the Rajini Makkal Mandram SM Thamburaj has been stripped off his post and suspended from the organisation. His suspension is said to have been a result of his conduct being disruptive to the harmony and discipline in the organisation. Mandram member RR Aravindan has been given additional charge as Dindugal secretary.
