Three college students held with knives

The police arrested Pathasarathy (19) of Otteri and two 17-year-old boys from Perambur. The public alerted the police after seeing the boys carrying knives near Perambur Barracks Road. 

Seeing police, all the three began to run but police caught them after a chase. Police seized two knives. After an enquiry, police found they are the students of a private college in Triplicane. 

The students had planned to attack the opposite gang in their college, with whom they were already involved in a fight last week. Pulianthope police have registered a case and arrested them.
